Plastic toothbrushes aren’t just an environmental problem — many are made with synthetic dyes and petroleum-based plastics that can leach endocrine-disrupting chemicals into your body. That means potential effects on hormones, fertility, and more. Toof gives you a brush made from nature, not the lab.

Natural bristles don’t last as long as nylon — but that’s the point. We recommend replacing it every 4-6 weeks. That’s the tradeoff for ditching synthetic chemicals and microplastics.

We recommend choosing a more natural toothpaste — one that uses plant‑derived ingredients, minimal synthetics and avoids abrasive additives like baking soda or charcoal if you’re using one of our natural bristle brushes.

That way you avoid adding chemical stress to your mouth microbiome while brushing with a brush made of natural materials.
